Gene Albert Carlson

Gene was born in Snohomish, Washington to Oiva and Martha Carlson. At age 5 Gene’s family moved to a 10 acre farm in Issaquah, Washington, where he finished high school. Gene met his wife to be, Gerry, from North Bend, Washington and they were married on Oct. 29, 1960. They welcomed their son John on Sept 15, 1961 and their daughter Lori on May 14, 1965.
Gene worked most of his life as a machinist, eventually for 30+ years with Rottler Manufacturing in Kent, Washington. Gene could fix almost anything, even in the time before You Tube. He enjoyed time with his family camping, fishing, and hunting. He had a playful and mischievous sense of humor.
Gene is survived by his wife Gerry, son John and his wife Ruth, daughter Lori, and 6 grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held Nov.5, 2017, at 3pm at the Belfair Assembly of God, State Hwy 3, in Belfair, WA.
