Gene Summerill

Gene A. Summerill, age 62, died in Port Orchard, WA., March 20, 1999.  He was born December 26, 1936 in Seattle, WA., to Thomas and Ruby Summerill.  He was raised in Port Orchard, WA.  He was most recently employed at Allstate Insurance as a Senior Account Agent where he worked for 30+ years.  He was a member of the Bremerton Yacht Club, Bremerton Elks, Selective Service Draft Board and the Port Orchard Chamber.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy Summerill of Port Orchard, WA., stepfather Ben Tompkins of Port Orchard, WA., sons Jeffrey Summerill of Belfair, WA., Troy Summerill of Salem, OR., John Garding of Seattle, WA., daughters Katherine Jacobs of Seattle, WA., Geraldine Russell of Bellevue, WA., brother Donald Empens of Port Angeles, WA., sisters Joan Emmons of Enumclaw, WA., Janice Empens of Eugene, OR., and 8 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA., March 29, 1999 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at  Sunset Lane Cemetery will follow the service.
