Geneva Harriet Read, 87, passed away February 25, 2014 with her family by her side in Gig Harbor, Washington.
She was born March 18, 1926 to Charles and Lenora Randolph. Geneva was married to Rex Read of California. Rex was an L.A. County Sheriffs officer and Geneva was an amazing homemaker. Together they had one daughter, Leslie Bettle. Geneva had a passion for detective movies and her hobbies included sewing and baseball. In her early years you could find her lying out by the pool with her bloodhound Liza and soaking in the warm California sun.
Geneva is survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded is death by her husband Rex and her daughter Leslie.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Monday, March 03, 2014 at the home of her granddaughter.
