George Mcdaniel

George W. McDaniel, 77 of Silverdale, died in Bremerton on November 10, 2009.  He was born April 21, 1932 in Seattle to Cecil & Phyllis (Morley) McDaniel.  He graduated from Myrtle Creek HS in OR in 1950 & Olympic College in Bremerton in 1993. He married Susan Brooks. George served from 1950 to 1988 in the U.S. Navy as a Submarinist.  He retired as E9 Chief of the Boat for Naval Operations.  He was a member of the Fleet Reserves and enjoyed playing golf. Surviving are wife Susan; sons James McDaniel of Medford, OR, Christopher McDaniel of Seattle, Sean (Erika) McDaniel of Tacoma, Stephen (Toni) Fuller of Port Orchard & Lawrence (Marilyn) Fuller of Bonney Lake; daughters Diane McDaniel of Medford, Sandra (Edward) Markowski of Port Orchard & Sheryl (David) Espie of Lansdale, PA; brothers Robert (Maryanne) McDaniel of Sequim & Michael (Lona) Kolb of Port Angeles; sister Terry Hill of Victoria, BC; grandchildren Christopher, Christina, Richard II, & Timothy Fuller, Stephen Dillon, Daniel & Stephanie Espie; great-grandchildren Logan, Morgan & Hailey Fuller. Gathering at 3:00pm on Monday, November 16th at Illahee State Park in Bremerton at Dockside.
