Gerald Henry

Gerald F. Henry, 83, a resident of Port Orchard, died March 16, 2008 in Bremerton, WA. He was born in Bicknell, IN to Leon and Eugenie Henry. He married Elaine Villwock September 30, 1944 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bremerton. They had 63 wonderful years together. Gerald retired form SupShip Seattle as a Contract Negotiator in 1979.During WWII he served aboard the USS Colorado and during Korea he served aboard the USS Philippine Sea. He loved playing baseball, fly fishing, bowling, gardening and was an accomplished musician. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed very much. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine; daughter Judy Cook (Jack) of Port Orchard; brother Leon Henry (Swede); two nephews Todd (Michelle), Mike (Tracy) and three great-nephews of CO; WWII buddy Duane Smith (Pat) of Wausau, WI and the Villwock family. Graveside Service is at 3:00 pm at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard on Friday, March 21, 2008.
