Jerry Pringle went home to be with his Savior on March 9, 2008. He was 63. Born March 28, 1944 in Pt. Townsend, Jerry spent his early years growing up in Quilcene. He later moved to Bremerton where he attended school and played sports. He graduated from West High School in 1963. Jerry married Frankye Warren on August 3, 1980, in Nampa, ID. They made their home, with their children, in Olalla for many years before recently moving to Port Orchard. Jerry was a weldor, employed with PSNS and Naval Underseas Warfare Center at Keyport. He retired from the government in 1995 to open his own business, Premier Welding, specializing in customized metal crafting and repair. Jerry was a Christian. He loved people and had a special way of relating to them. He used this gift to minister to prisoners at the prison in Shelton, WA. He was involved with Gideon International, and he was a member of Christian Life Center church in Pt. Orchard. Jerry was a passionate hunter and fisherman. He had a special appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Surviving are his wife Frankye; daughters Raygen (Stephen) Lipp of Pt. Orchard, and April Richardson of Pacific, WA; son Robert Pringle of Columbus, NE; grandchildren Jessica Pringle and Barbara (Josh) Gallegos, of Elko, NV., Aubrianna Lipp, Tyler and Justyn Tanga of Pt. Orchard; sisters Judy (Gary) Gratrix of Seabeck, Jackie (Dave) Nagle of Evans, WA, Randie Pringle of Huson, MT, Cindy (Dan) Aldous of Kettle Falls, WA, and Ginger (Chris) Warren of Nampa, ID; brother Tom (Sally) Carr of Mesa, AZ; in-laws Roy and Mitzi Warren of Olalla; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gerrie (Such) Pringle, and his brother Jim Pringle. Visitation 10am to 2pm on Friday, March 14th followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
