Geraldine Harris

Geraldine ''Tutu'' Harris, 82, of Port Orchard died Friday, April 6, 2001 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton. Tutu was born June 12, 1918 in East Bernard, Texas. She married John Harris in 1942 in Sequin, Texas and spent many years touring the world as an Air Force wife. Her husband John preceded her in death in 1974.Tutu lived in Hawaii for twenty-five years before moving to Washington with her family in 1988. She has resided in Port Orchard for the last three years. Surviving is a daughter and son in law Lynne & Marlin Little of Port Orchard; brother & sister in law Ben & Ardell Buss of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three granddaughters; Cindy & husband Kevin Naud of Port Orchard; Lori Little of Port Orchard; and Debbie Little of California; two great-grandchildren, K.J. and Jason Naud both of Port Orchard; also a large extended family in Hawaii, Texas and Minnesota.Memorial services will be Monday, April 16, 2001 3:30 pm at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard with inurnment to take place at the Punchbowl Veterans Cemetery in Hawaii with her husband.
