Geraldine Worland

Geraldine Elizabeth (Reeser) Worland, 80, of Port Orchard, Washington, died February 20, 2003 in Bremerton, Washington. She was born March 30, 1922 in Southwick, Idaho to Edward & Edith (Walker) Reeser. She graduated from Bremerton high scool in 1940 and married Lawrence D. Worland on March 22, 1941 in Shelton, Washington.Mrs. Worland was a secretary with the United States Government for 12 years retiring in 1972. She enjoyed reading, needlework, and crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife & mother and a great friend.Survivors include her husband, Lawrence D. Worland of Port Orchard; two sons -Lawrence Worland Jr. and wife Lois of Shelton; Edward Worland and wife Juliana of Port Orchard; a daughter Jennifer Voskuhl and husband Fred of Bremerton; a sister Oleta Roseborough of Lewiston, Idaho; 9 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by numerous brothers & sisters.Memorial services will be 10am on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Rill Chapel.
