Gertrude Barter died May 7, 2003 at Ridigemont Terrace Nursing Home in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 97.She was born to Walter and Mildred (Belt) Clark April 17, 1906 in Boise, Idaho.She married Clyde Barter in Wenatchee, Washington on October 21, 1933.Gertrude was a homemaker and seamstress.She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.Gertrude is survived by her niece, Judy Ecklund, of Port Orchard, Washington; nephews: Bill Clark of Port Ludlow, Washington; Edward Clark of Bellevue, Washington; Richard Clark of Wenatchee, Washington; Ken Walter of Portland, Oregon; Tom Holt, of Bremerton, Washington and Jerry Walter of Port Orchard, WashingtonA visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington Monday, May 12, 2003 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m.A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2003.
