Gladythe (Bonnie) Rathbun of Bremerton, Washington died of natural causes May 31, 2006 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. She was 80. She was born December 11, 1925 in Langford, South Dakota to William and Blanche (Townsend) Lambert. Gladythe married Charles A. Rathbun ("Ed") in Bremerton, Washington. She graduated from school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Gladythe worked many years at TB & M, Tradewell - Bremerton as a grocery checker; and, as a realtor for Bremerton Realty. She was a member of Hood Canal Detecters Club. She enjoyed metal detecting, antiques and watching Mariner games, family, friends, kids and grandkids. Gladythe is survived by husband - Charles "Ed" Rathbun of the Bremerton, Washington family home; sons - Kenneth (Sylvia) Rathbun of Bremerton, Marc (Dorene) Fretwell of Seabeck, Washington, Brian (Marina) Fretwell of Bremerton, Washington; daughters - Linda (Arlan) Johnson of Holly, Washington, Jana Rathbun (Bob Hanley) of Port Orchard, Washington; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; extended family and/or special friends: Herb and Darlie Huxford, Terry and Sue Wright, Bud and Nonie Sullivan. She was preceded in death by: parents - William Lambert and Blanche (Townsend) Lambert; brother - William Lambert, Jr., sisters - June Froom, Bee Saling, Maida Hodges; nephew - Bill Saling. A memorial service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
