Glen E. Dock, a resident of Port Orchard, died at his home on October 9, 2007. He was born on May 14, 1923 in Three Rivers, Michigan to William R. and Nora B. (Lowman) Dock. He married Alice Kimmel on September 25, 1947. Glen retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and was a proud veteran of World War II. He served on the USS Hornet and was part of the Doolittle Raid. He also retired from Shop 42 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and was a Master Mason and VFW Member. He lived life on his terms. He had many friends, a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife Alice; stepdaughter Jean Hauser and nephew Kenneth Nelson. Viewing from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, October 22, 2007 at Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel, 305 Rock River Avenue, Three Rivers, MI. Graveside service at 4:00 pm on October 22nd at Moore Park Cemetery in Moore Park, Michigan. Arrangements by Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
