Glen Miller

Glen Miller, 70, of Longbranch, Wa died April 25, 2003 in Longbranch.Mr. Miller was born August 25, 1932 in Hampton, Iowa to Dale & Mable (Lau) Miller. He served in the Marines from 1948-1950, and later in the Navy from 1950-1970. Mr. Miller worked as a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1987. He later was a dockmaster in Longbranch from 1988-1998.In his spare time, Mr. Miller served as Web master for www.dockret.org the website for Key Peninsula. A member of VFW post 4990 in Vaughn, Wa. and was a member of the USS Hancock CV-CVA19 Association.Mr. Miller is survived by two daughters - Dee Dee Crowder of Longbranch and Chris Miller of Ogden, Utah; three brothers - Larry, Richard, and Leroy all of California; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Spethmann) Miller and a brother Dale Miller.A Memorial Service will be 3pm Sunday, April 27th at the Longbranch Improvement Center.
