Glen Miller, 70, of Longbranch, Wa died April 25, 2003 in Longbranch.Mr. Miller was born August 25, 1932 in Hampton, Iowa to Dale & Mable (Lau) Miller. He served in the Marines from 1948-1950, and later in the Navy from 1950-1970. Mr. Miller worked as a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1987. He later was a dockmaster in Longbranch from 1988-1998.In his spare time, Mr. Miller served as Web master for www.dockret.org the website for Key Peninsula. A member of VFW post 4990 in Vaughn, Wa. and was a member of the USS Hancock CV-CVA19 Association.Mr. Miller is survived by two daughters - Dee Dee Crowder of Longbranch and Chris Miller of Ogden, Utah; three brothers - Larry, Richard, and Leroy all of California; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Spethmann) Miller and a brother Dale Miller.A Memorial Service will be 3pm Sunday, April 27th at the Longbranch Improvement Center. Inurnment will be at Longbranch Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Angels Guild Thrift Shop, Key Peninsula Highway N., Lakebay, Wa 98349
