Glen Rose Westhoff 81, of San Diego, California died Sunday, September 26, 2004 at Forest Ridge Health and Rehab Center in Bremerton, Washington. The former Glen Rose Wilson was born May 29, 1923 in Rotan, Texas to A. James and Myrtle (Stallworth) Wilson. They moved to San Diego, where she was reared and educated, graduating from San Diego high school in 1943. She married Francis Westhoff June 4, 1944 in San Diego where they made their home. They moved to Port Orchard, Washington in August of 2004 to live with her daughter Pamela. For many years she was a sales person for Studio Girl Cosmetics. She was a member of the Elkettes of El Cajon, California and loved volunteering as a Pink Lady with Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, California and Meals on Wheels. Glen Rose was a member and Deaconess of the Vista La Mesa Church (Disciples of Christ) in California. She is survived by her husband Francis, daughter Pamela Traylor, three grandsons, Marc, Matthew and John Traylor, and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother Bob Wilson and a sister Edna Nelson. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 1. 2004 at Rill Chapels Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA. Burial will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
