Gloria L.G. Howton, 83 of Port Orchard, WA passed away peacefully on July 27, 2020 under the care of Stafford Healthcare.
She was born on February 8, 1937 in Inarajan, Guam to the late Mariano Duenas & Ana Chargaluf Leon Guerrero.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Howton Jr. of 57 wonderful years where they met while Darrell was stationed at Anderson, AFB. Being a military wife, she traveled to many destinations in her life, and eventually decided to call Port Orchard home. Her hobbies included baking, sewing, needlepoint and crocheting to name just a few. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and teaching them all her hobbies. While she was called Gloria by some, her family also called her Lola, named after her godmother. She always had kind things to say while having a funny side to her that would make everyone around laugh and smile. The family would like to thank the numerous staff members at Stafford Healthcare for their continued round the clock care, and friendships built throughout the years.
