Gloria Miles

Gloria I. Miles, 86, present with the Lord Jesus on March 9, 2008. She was born October 29, 1921 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Melvin and Mabel Morris. Gloria married Donald D. Miles February 11, 1938 in Missouri and to Port Orchard, WA September of 1941. She was a loving housewife and mom and in the 60's she was a checker at the commissary and T B & M Grocery in Port Orchard. Survivors include her son, Richard L. Miles and his wife Lynne of Port Orchard and 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald D. Miles and 3 daughters; Donna Kay Miles, Carol Ann Pierce and Conny Jean Lilley. Gloria loved Jesus, her family and her church family. She is now free to dance and sing! There will be a memorial service at Bethany Fellowship, 717 High St., Bremerton, WA at 11:00 am on Sunday, March 30th and a graveside service at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard on Saturday, April 5th at 2:00 pm.
