Goldie Garcia

Goldie Emogene Garcia, 72, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on March 11, 2000.  She was born in Powder, Oregon on January 24, 1928 to Harry & Mabel (Shoemaker) McCormick.  She was raised in Merlin, Oregon.Goldie married Carlos 'Charlie' Garcia in October 1975 in Bremerton, Washington.  He preceded her in death in 1993.  Mrs. Garcia was a Homemaker.Surviving are sons Richard Moulton & Derwin DuMont, both of Bremerton, Washington; daughters Bernita Goodell of Ronan, Montana and Clarice DuMont of Bremerton; brothers Harley McCormick and Charles McCormick, both of Grants Pass, Oregon; grandchildren Lisa, Tina, Mamie, Richard II, Lori, Jesse, Derwin III, Breanna, Eric, Mose, Tiffany, and 5 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Tuesday, March 14th from 9am to 5 pm and Wednesday, March 15th from 9am to service time.  Funeral Service at Rill Chapel on Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at 1:00 PM with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.  Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 2315 Burwell, Bremerton, WA 98312.
