Grace Ann Ellis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by many whose lives she touched. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 26, 2013 at her home in Port Orchard, Washington. She was born on March 10, 1943 in Burlington, Washington to Elmer Knutzen and Helen VanDusen Knutzen. She graduated valedictorian from Lake Stevens High School Class of 1961 and went on to graduate from the University of Washington in 1965. On August 21, 1965 she married Arthur Ellis in Everett, Washington. She was a homemaker and raised 5 children. She was a member of the Ann Wilson Chapter of the Children's Hospital Orthopedic Guild. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, her five children, 14 grandchildren and her brother Steve Knutzen.
Grace Ann loved spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading, watching TV (especially the Seahawks and the Olympic games), and bragging about her grandchildren.
A funeral mass and reception will be held on September 10, 2013 at 2pm at St Gabriel's Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Arrangements by Rill’s Life Tribute Center.
