Gregory Thomas Asche

Greg unexpectedly passed away in Gig Harbor on July 1, 2018. He was born to Richard and Helen Asche on August 26, 1960. Greg is survived by his wife Cheryl, sons Evan and Ryan, father Richard, and sisters Lynne (Koll), Lisa (Debiase), and Mary (O’Hare). Greg is preceded in passing by his mother Helen and younger brother Andrew.
Greg graduated from South Kitsap High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College. Greg instilled a love of nature and the outdoors that his sons will enjoy as they move forward in life. Driven by a love of working with his hands, Greg built many custom homes, including his own. An avid bicyclist, Greg completed a solo bicycle trek across the United States. He also enjoyed skiing, hiking, swimming, target shooting, reading, and history. He was never far away from his dogs Scout and Annie. Greg’s willingness to be of service to those in need, his smiling eyes, and quick wit will be forever missed by both friends and family.
