Gregory Elmer Fairbanks

March 20, 1938 — February 26, 2021

Gregory Elmer Fairbanks, 82 years old of Port Orchard, WA, passed away on February 26th, 2021.

The Grave side funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 12th, 2021 at Sunset Lane Memorial park, Port Orchard. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Gregory was born in Moorehead, Minnesota on March 20th, 1938. He graduated from Centralia High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science from Central Washington University.

Gregory was married his wife Shirley (Clark) on September 5th, 1960; they were married for 61 years .

Gregory enlisted in the US Navy Submarine force in 1957. He retired from military service after 26 years obtaining the rank of Master Chief. He enjoyed family, Kite flying, RC Airplanes, Rocketry, and Gardening.

Gregory is survived by his wife: Shirley, Children: Samuel (Annette) Fairbanks of Port Orchard, Greg (Celia) Fairbanks of Port Orchard, and Teresa (Curtis Gill) of Port Orchard, 11 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Gregory is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Janice Fairbanks.
