Gustof E. Johnson

Gustof E. 'Gus' Johnson, 90 of Port Orchard, Washington died on January 30, 2000.  He was born in Spooner, Wisconsin to John & Matilda Johnson and was raised in Spooner until relocating to the Port Orchard area in 1952.  He married Cody M. Whitman on September 21, 1937.Mr. Johnson worked as a Carpenter for 40 years, retiring in 1969 from Local 1597 Carpenters Union in Bremerton, Washington.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church in Belfair, Washington.Surviving are his wife; son Jon Johnson of Bremerton, Washington; grandchildren Dawn Piety, Kim Johnson, and Darren Johnson; and 6 great-grandchildren.No public service is planned at this time.
