Harriet Mae Wyckoff, 85, died on July 21, 2000 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born in Anaconda, Montana on November 17, 1914 to Leonard Reed Hammond & Anna Celilia (Finn) Hammond. Harriet married Robert N. Wyckoff in Missoula, Montana. He preceded her in death in 1997.Mrs. Wyckoff graduated from Scared Heart Academy in Missoula in 1933. She attended St.Theresa College in Minnesota and the University of Montana in Missoula. Harriet was a homemaker and was involved with Children's Orthopedic at Children's Hospital in Seattle and the Kitsap China Painters.Surviving are daughters Rosalee Baker of Springfield, Oregon, Patricia Preuit of Olalla, Washington, Roberta Cooper of Gig Harbor, Washington; brother L.J. Hammond of Deer Lodge, Montana; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Rosalee Axlund and brother George Hammond.Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday July 26, 2000 at Merrill Gardens in Gig Harbor, Washington. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Missoula, Montana.Memorial donations may be made to Childrens Orthopedic Hospital, Seattle, Washington
