Harriett Ross

Harriett F. Ross, 79 of Belfair, Washington died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on February 28, 2000.  She was born on October 11, 1920 in Sumner, Iowa to Claude & Perle Nuss.  She moved to Seattle at age 17 living in the Seattle and Renton areas.  Harriett married Patrick C. Ross in Ballard, Washington on July 2, 1940.Mrs. Ross was most recently a homemaker.  She retired from Boeing Aircraft in Renton where she worked in the tool shop. She previously worked at J.C. Penney in Renton as a Retail Clerk.  Harriett was a member of the Twanoh Falls Women's Club, a Mason County Food Bank Board member, and Rocky Bay Convalescent Center volunteer Birthday Coordinator.Surviving are her husband; sons Robert Ross of Kirland, Washington and Richard Ross of Belfair; sister Dolly Coonrod of Kent, Washington; and grandchildren Wendy Whitney of Renton, Richard Ross of Michigan, Casey Ross of Tacoma, Carley Ross of Kirkland, and Joel Ross of Oregon.Memorial Service is Friday, March 3, 2000 at 1:00 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Fund of Belfair, P.
