Harry Chinn

Mr. Harry L. Chinn died on August 17, 2001 at his residence in Port Orchard, Washington. He was seventy four years old.Mr. Chinn was born on October 28, 1926 in Seattle, Washington to Lung and Louie (Shee) Chin. He served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as an Equipment Specialist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton for thirty two years, retiring on October 27, 1981.Mr. Chinn is survived by a brother, Charles Chinn of Bremerton; and one sister, Mary Ann Louie of Las Vegas, Nevada.Public viewing of Mr. Chinn will be on Friday, August 24, 2001 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard at 2 p.m. that day. Viewing will then continue following the service until 5 p.m., at Rill Chapel. The Reverend Larry Mead will be officiating the service, and a reception will follow at the Chapel. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home & Crematory.
