Hazel Leota Buss was born on February 4, 1922 in Manchester, Washington to Frank and Hazel Walsh. She was one of five children. They moved to California for a short time when she was small and returned to the South Colby area.
She married Albert Buss on July 7, 1940 and they moved to Beach Drive where she still resided. She had 3 children – Leotta Buss, Albert Buss, Jr. (Cathy) and April Berry (Timothy). She is also survived by her Grandchildren - Kimberly Buss, Keith Buss, Kenneth Buss, Gary Buss, Wendy Stallings, David Buss, Lisa Floyd, Michelle Orr and Teresa Butler; numerous great Grandchildren and great great Grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Hazel worked in a brush packing plant in Port Orchard but was mainly a housewife and Mother. She and Albert loved to travel – they made several trips to Alaska and Florida and went down the Oregon coast almost yearly.
