Hazel Pote

Hazel E. Pote, 82 of Olalla, Washington died on January 25, 2000 in Bremerton, Washington.  She was born December 20, 1917 in Afton, Iowa to George and Susie (Newkirk) White.  She was raised in Afton attending Creston High School in Creston, Iowa.  Hazel married Randall Pote in 1938 and was a homemaker.Surviving is her husband; son Mike Pote of Olalla, Washington; 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents George and Susie White, sisters Grace Eddy and Flora Miller, daughter Pam, and son Steve.  A gathering will be held Saturday, January 29, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. at the family home in Olalla.  Cards may be sent to the Hazel Pote Family, PO Box 595, Olalla, WA 98359.
