Helen Patricia Casto of Allyn, Washington died at Belmont Terrace in Bremerton, Washington November 18, 2004. She was 78. She was born November 18, 1926 in Frankfort, Indiana to Leo and Gertrude (McGuire) Van Cleave. She married Jerome Casto April 5, 1946. He died in 1993. Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed chopping her own firewood, family get-to-gethers, her cat Sammy. Helen was a Christian and enjoyed her faith. She is survived by sons - Larry Casto of Allyn, Washington, Clayton Casto of Belfair, Washington; daughters - Sherril Mc Manus (& husband, Steve) of Belfair, Washington, Revell Thompson of Grape View, Washington, Cindy Bixenmann (& husband, Tom) of Port Orchard, Washington; brother - Art Van Cleave of Tucson, Arizona; 6 grandchildren: Shawn M. Snyder, Dawna L. Snyder, Clayton Snyder, Thomas Bixenmann, Lisa Bixenmann, Jesse Thompson. Helen was preceded in death by husband - Jerome Casto, brothers - Don Van Cleave, Joe Van Cleave, George Van Cleave, Bill Van Cleave. Visitations will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Saturday, November 20, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon and on Monday, November 22, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on Monday, November 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, Washington following the service.
