Helen Rooms

Helen Rooms, 91, of Port Orchard, Washington died on April 30, 2002 in Gig Harbor, Washington of age related issues.Helen was born on March 22, 1911 in Seattle, Washington to Joseph and Mary Ann (Butt) Triviere. She attended Garfield High School, graduating in 1927. She then attended business college and graduated in 1929.Helen married Albert G. Rooms who died in December of 1977. She worked as a secretary for Kitsap County Engineer for 25 years, retiring in 1976. Helen enjoyed travelling and golfing. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star, and Children's Orthepedic Hospital Guild. Helen is survived by two daughters; Kathleen Payseno of Port Orchard and Joann Bundgard of San Jose, California, 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.Services for Helen will be on Saturday May 4, 2002 at 1:00 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors preference.
