Helen Marie Stockton, 94 of New Plymouth, Idaho died Monday, May 19, 2003 in Port Orchard, Washington. Helen was born on May 31, 1908 in Albion, Nebraska to Clyde and Eva (Boor) Wilson. At the age of fourteen she moved with her family to Fruitland, Idaho where she completed her high school education.Helen married Richard E. Stockton of New Plymouth, Idaho in 1927. The couple made their home in New Plymouth, farming and raising children Florence and Richard. Following her husband's death in 1945, Helen continued to farm by herself for a few years and then worked in the packing industry in the area. Helen was an extremely hard worker with a generous heart. She enjoyed gardening and reading and had a passion for rock collecting.She is survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great grandhcildren.She is preceeded in death by her husband Richard, a son, Richard Stockton, a daughter, Florence Stockton Cooper, a sister, Florence Carperter and a brother, Vernon Wilson.A Memorial service will be held in Everett, Washington.Internment will be at Parkview Cemetery near New Plymouth, Idaho at 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 29th.
