Helen Young

Helen Kathrine Young, 68, died at her home in Port Orchard, Washington on May 1, 2000. She was born on July 9, 1931 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Luther & Hettie (Hawkins) Thomison and was raised in Oklahoma. Helen married Henry Joe Young in Gainesville, Texas on May 21, 1946.Mrs. Young was a homemaker and was also retired as a Bookkeeper for St. Vincent DePaul in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Port orchard.Surviving are her husband; son Terry Young of Modesto, California; daughters Carol Ingle of Port Orchard, Darla McKee of Apache Junction, Arizona, Deana Lewis of Port Orchard, and Jo Kathrine Pennington of Goodyear, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, May 3, 2000 at 2:30pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
