Herbert Eugene Loop

Herbert Eugene Loop, 81 of Port Orchard, died November 13, 2012 in Bremerton. He was born in Shelton, WA on August 19, 1931 to Herbert Enzo & Edna Mae (Young) Loop. He graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in Shelton.

He spent several years of his retirement in Sun City West, AZ and most recently the last year in Port Orchard, spending time with his Family. Herb enjoyed golf, fly fishing, fly tying, reading the shooting range. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Scottish Rite Shriner and a member of the National Rifle Association. He passed all that he loved on to his family and to all he met.

Herb was a Commercial Real Estate Broker in Kitsap County for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He worked for Park Shore Real Estate for 30 years and then for Herb Loop and Associates for 8 years. He was very instrumental in many developments in Kitsap County including Parkwood and South Park Shopping Center in Port Orchard. He worked as a Land Surveyor and also served in the U. S. Navy as a Radio Mechanic during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Loop, mother of Jeramee and is survived by his remaining children's mother Bonnie Loop of Sierra Vista, and former companion Nancy Ellis of Sun City West, as well as his son Kevin Loop of Port Orchard; daughters Samantha Loop (Jim Boscola) of Bremerton, Robin (Gregg) Scott of Port Orchard, and Jeramee Hixson of Suquamish; brothers Chris (Nancy) Loop, Enzo (Bev) Loop, both of Port Orchard, Wendel Loop of Shelton, David (Sandy) Loop of Port Ludlow; sister Bess (Norman) Olson of Port Orchard; grandchildren Lesli (Sam Kamia) Loop-Smith, Taylor (John Naputi) Scott, David (Emily Murray) Loop, Jonathan Williams, Jordan Loop, Mason Scott; great-grandchildren R.J. Slover, Sophia Kamla, Kodi Kamla, Amani Naputi, Naomi Loop, Mathew Loop; extended family Meaghan Parker and Susan Boscola.

Memorial Service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sunset Lane Cemetery.
