Herbert Wilson

Herbert Louis Wilson, age 75, died May 16, 2000 in Silverdale, WA. He was born March 1, 1925 in New York City, New York to Alfred and Kathryn (Bunn) Wilson. He was raised in Bayside, Long Island, New York. He graduated from New York College with a degree in mechanical engineering. He served 2 years in the United States Navy. He married Ruth Tapia on May 22, 1948 in Bayside, Long Island. Herb was employed by Lockheed Missile and Space Company for 40 years and retired in 1990 as Director of Field Operations.Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Ruth of Bremerton, WA., son Bruce Wilson of Reno, NV., daughter Donna Krawetz of Bremerton, WA., 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Wilson was a member of the national association of clocks. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton, WA., on Wed. May 24, at 12:00 noon.
