Reverend Herman W. Remick, Age: 89, resident of Bremerton, Washington, died on October 26, 2001.He had been born on February 11, 1912, in Eliot, Maine to Frank and Minnie(Rowe) Remick. He was educated in New Hampshire.Reverend Remick married Thema Rowe on June 1, 1938, in Eliot. He served in the United States Navy Reserve from 1943 to 1946.Mr. Remick was a Machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for thirty years, retiring in 1962.He enjoyed religious ministry work and gardening.Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel of Panama City, Florida; a daughter, Sylvia Peterson of Bremerton, Washington; two sisters, Alice Byers of Kittery, Maine, and Doris Crowley of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara J., a son, Edward W., two infant children; three brothers, Irvin, Norman and Frank; and a sister, Ethel Devore.A graveside inurnment will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.Arrangements are under direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington.
