Hibbert Norman Beesley, 92 of Poulsbo, died in Bremerton on April 2, 2010. He was born Novmeber 16. 1917 in Blackfoot, Idaho to William & Minnie Beesley. He graduated in 1936 from Pocatello High School in Idaho. "Norm" worked as a Sheetmetal Mechanic at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, retiring in 1986. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945 during World War II. He enjoyed gardening, fishing & loved spending time with his 5 daughters, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He loved music & playing his accordion. He was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving on a mission in France and Canada in 1936. Surviving are ex-wife & loving friend Donna Beesley; daughters Terri (Leon) Lider and Mari Jo Emerson, both of Port Orchard, Shari (Corey) Howard of Walla Walla, Barbie (Shawn) O'Leary of Poulsbo & Debie (Shawn) Olsen of Fort Lewis, WA; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Norma Marler, Sarah Hammond, Ruth Beesley and brother Zenas (Bill) Beesley. Funeral service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3877 Mullenix Rd in Port Orchard, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial at Sunset Lane Memorial Park will follow.
