Hildegard Pennington

Hildegard K. Pennington, age 66, died August 5, 1999 in Bremerton, WA.  She was born August 20, 1932 in Rheydt, Rheinland, Germany to Joseph A. Beckers and Martha (Wolmer) Beckers.  She was raised in Rheydt, Germany.  As a child she attended schools in Meinfranken, Germany. She completed an apprenticeship in Business Administration in Rheydt, Germany.  She attended nursing school in Oxford, England and graduated from Bremerton Business College in 1973 in Bremerton, WA. She married Don Pennington in Karlsruhe, Germany on July 9, 1956.  She was the first full time secretary for Spot Realty for 7 years and more recently has been the executive secretary and volunteer station manager for P.A.W.S. of Bremerton, WA. She is survived by her husband Don Pennington of Port Orchard, WA., and daughter Rene Gehrts of Bremerton, WA. Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA., August 7, 1999 from noon - 1:00 pm and August 9, 1999 from noon - 1:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Monday, August 9, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, WA.
