Hubert Pierson "Dan" Danley of Port Orchard, WA died February 10, 2007 at Tacoma General Hospital. He was 69. He was born May 15, 1937 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lon and Net Danley (Turner). He married Judy Danley (Cotsenmoyer) on September 17, 1960 in Lompoc, CA. Hubert graduated from Alamogordo High School in Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1956; and, from UCLA in Los Angeles, CA in 1973. He attained a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy. He worked as an Aerospace Engineer in the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) from 1965- 1981. He also worked as a proposal manager and consultant from 1981-2007. Hubert was a member of the Austin Healey Club & Triumph Roadster Club. He enjoyed vintage car restoration - British Sports Cars; photography, metal sculptures. He is survived by his wife Judy Danley (Cotsenmoyer) of the Port Orchard, WA family home; daughter - Korri (Chris) Roper of Stafford, VA.; sons - Konn (Aileen) Danley of Huntington Beach, CA., Dann (Becky) Danley of Friendswood, TX; brother - Ranny (Nancy) Danley of Granbury, TX; sister - Bets (John) Fraser of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren (Alea & Kasey Roper; Lindsay & Quinn Danley; Michelle & Logan Danley). He was preceded in death in 2001 by sister - Dorothy Coventry. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 2:00 p.m. at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in his memory.
