On October 15, 2013 at the Harrison Birthing Center in Silverdale, Washington Hudson Alan Hubbell came into the lives of Josh and Sara Hubbell. No one had any idea how entirely special his journey among us would be. There were some difficulties, but soon he was home in Port Orchard training a whole bunch of people to live life to the fullest.
Everything Hudson did was a significant accomplishment that showed his bulldog tenacity. He worked harder than anyone and always had the biggest smile. He moved mountains, he had an opinion and some unique but tenable ways to let you know what it was. One of the obvious highlights for him was realizing that he was going to be a big brother.
He loved being at play and playing tricks on people, especially his dad and his little brother Owen. He loved playing with his brother, dancing and listening to a selection of music that was rather eclectic for his age. He loved playing Mario games on his Nintendo Switch and beating the bosses. He had become very proficient at sign language and was beginning to develop some good language skills as well.
There are those who don’t believe in miracles. Then someone like Hudson steps into their lives and changes all of that. In his short time here, he reminded people around him that there are two choices in this life: you can just exist, or you can choose to actually LIVE and find the best in everything around you. If there was something unpleasant around you could do this (sign for ‘don’t want or don’t like’) and keep moving forward.
This special angel finished his task on earth and went back into the hands of God on August 19, 2020. He is survived by His mom and dad Sara and Josh Hubbell, his little brother Owen; his mema and many many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
