"Grandma Ida" Ida Mae Worden, 81, of Port Orchard, Wa, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2009 while surrounded by family and friends.She was born October 18, 1927 in Paris Missouri to Alfred and Malinda Redding. She was one of nine children. She graduated in 1945 from Paris High School, Paris Missouri. Ida Mae married Lyle Matthew Worden on December 26, 1970. Together they had a blended family of seven children. In 1973 Ida Mae and Lyle moved to Port Orchard, WA. Ida Mae is many things to many people ! She was happiest when she was helping others. She was a loving , dedicated Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, sister, friend and wife who loved her Lord and her church family. Her work with First Baptist Church Bus Ministries gave her great pride and joy. Grandma Ida's door was always open to all. Ida Mae was proceeded in death by her son Ricky Dodd. She is survived by son Dennis Worden, Daughter Geneva Flolo, son Danial Worden, son Donald Worden, daughter Chyrel Pennington, and daughter Donna Williams, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 foster children Robert Clauson and Genette Bales , her 3 sisters Helen Easley, Ruth Collins, and Betty Garrett and many, many children that passed through her open doors. SHE IS TRULY LOVED AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED! Family viewing will be Saturday March 28th from 10:00 until 10:30 Family and friends: 10:30 until 12 noon at Rill Chapel, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 2308 Sidney Rd.
