Irene Hill

Irene Bernice Hill, 90, of Lacey, Washington died Wednesday, March 23, 2010.  She was born in Neilsville, Wisconsin on January 22, 1920.  She married the late Robert W. Hill in 1946.  They lived most of their married life in Washington.  Previously, Irene lived in Wisconsin, Iowa and Oregon. Irene's passion was caring for others.  She enjoyed taking food to the ill, and helping the elderly.  She was well known for her wonderful baked goods that she loved to share.  Irene enjoyed crocheting gifts to give away until she passed away.  Irene had been an active member of Evergreen Christian Community in Olympia, Washington.  She loved and served the Lord for many years.  Irene and her husband Bob, loved to travel and explore many places in the U.S.  Irene gave and received much joy with family and friends. Irene is survived by four children:  Keith Hill of Bonney Lake, WA; Linda Rowland and her spouse Herb Rowland of La Fayette, IN; Bob Hill and his spouse Pat Hill of Tenino, WA; Jeannie Mulkey and her spouse Dan Mulkey of Eatonville, WA.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.  A Graveside Service was held March 29th at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 3rd at Christ Community Baptist Church, 8016 176th Street East in Puyallup, WA.
