Irene Kimble

Irene J. Kimble, age 85, died May 3, 2000 in Bremerton, WA. She was born April 24, 1915 in Bellingham, WA. to Ray and Eunice (Neeley) Bell. She was raised in South Colby, WA and graduated from South Kitsap High School.Mrs. Kimble married John Kimble in Waterman (Port Orchard), WA., on Dec. 31, 1935. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Kimble also worked for 25 years as a charge nurse at the Washington State Veterans Home in Retsil, WA from the 1950's to the 1970's. She is survived by her sons Jack Kimble of Auburn, WA., David Kimble of Vernon B.C., Canada, daughter Virginia Whalen-Johnson of Port Orchard, WA., brothers Larry Bell of Auburn, WA., Donald Bell of Port Orchard, WA., Edward Bell of Spokane, WA., sister Frances Loch of Port Orchard, WA., 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Rill Chapel Friday, May 12, 2000 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception following in the hospitality room. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery following the reception.
