Isabel Cruz

Isabel Santos Cruz, age 70, died December 17, 1999 in Baltimore, MD.  She was born July 2, 1929 in Guam to Mariano Carbullido Santos (Theodora Cruz Babauta) where she was raised. She was a resident of Sinajana, Guam. She graduated from Western State College of Colorado in Gunnison, CO in 1952 and from the University of Guam with a Masters in Education in Mangilao, Guam in 1973. She was an educator for 40 years on Guam.  She is survived by her husband Antonio Gogue Cruz, daughters; Beatrice Quinene of Kew Gardens, NY., Cecilia Blaney of Port Orchard, WA., Sylvia Burgess of Martinsburg, W.V., Lucy Cruz of Sinajana, Guam, sister Regina Santos Sablan of Boulder Creek, CA., grandchildren; Brianna and  Anthony Quinene both of Kew Gardens, NY., Shane and Michael Blaney of Port Orchard, WA., and Koty, Isabella, Lucas and Mariana Burgess of Martinsburg, W.V. A funeral mass will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, WA., Dec. 27, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard following the funeral mass on Dec. 27, 1999.
