Ivan Crawford

Ivan Crawford, 91, died in Port Orchard on December 24, 1999.  He was born April 18, 1908 in Carmen, Oklahoma to Aldyn Timothy & Pearl Eulla (Burnaugh) Crawford.  Ivan also grew up in Carmen.He married Laura Opal Stufflebeam in Oklahoma in 1937.  They were divorced in 1955 (Laura remarried James A. Culp).During the 1920's and 1930's, Ivan was a Farmer in Oklahoma and Kansas.  He moved to Monitor, Washington in 1944 where he worked in the orchards & other agricultural jobs, and as an Automotive Mechanic.  Mr. Crawford moved to Bridgeport, Washington in 1956 where he built a home and worked in the fruit orchards until retiring in 1976.Surviving are daughter Opal Louise Forde of Port Orchard; brother Woodrow J. Crawford of Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Vinnie Bosworth of Mackay, Idaho and Viola Derrick of Oakdale, California; grandchildren Brian Forde of Bremerton, Steven Forde of Port Orchard, Grace Taylor, Ivan Taylor, and Robert Culp all of Las Vegas, Nevada; and 9 great-grandchildren.  Ivan was preceded in death by daughter Lucille and grandson William Culp.No service is planned at this time.  Burial will be at Wenatchee City Cemetery in Wenatchee, Washington.
