Jacqueline Lucille Bailey passed away on July 27, 2024.
She was born on October 30th, 1940, in Outlook, Washington. She was the fourth of 7 children. She is survived by David McDonald, Wayne McDonald, and Ward McDonald. She proceeded in death by Gail Saunders, Marian Barrow, and Marjorie Woods. She attended West Bremerton High School and graduated in 1959, followed by Bremerton Business College. She married Bill Heckenlively in 1961. They had 2 children, Teresa and Byron (Barney) (deceased). Bill passed away in 1964 from a scuba diving accident. She then married Jerry Bailey in 1967. They had 2 girls, April Louise and Johni May.
She was Grandma to 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was also a foster mom to many countless children. She enjoyed helping others who needed help. She fed the homeless and clothed the needy. She provided a roof for many when they had no home to stay.
Her hobbies included painting, sewing, and crocheting, quilting, camping, and gardening.
She enjoyed farm life and her farm animals. She was a 4-H leader encouraging her kids to win ribbons in showmanship and cooking class.
In her younger year's She enjoyed scuba diving with her first husband, Bill. Her fondest memories are her kids being born, her kids' wedding days, and her grandkids. She loved her vacations as well. Her favorite vacation was to Disneyland.
Jackie loved God, and she loved telling others about Jesus. She served at Island Lake Bible camp as a craft leader. Her favorite place to spend time was where her favorite people were. Her favorite items are her Bible, family pictures, and paintings. Her favorite flowers are all flowers, and her favorite colors are periwinkle blue and anything sparkling.
Jacki was loved by all. She will be remembered by her fun sparkling personality and her giving heart.
From her husband, children, and grandchildren, we lost the best Wife, Mom, and Grandma one could ever hope to even dream of having.
Now she is dancing with Jesus
