Jacqueline Lorraine Petty, 51, of Port Orchard, Washington, passed away on February 26th, 2023 after her courageous 30 year battle with Kidney Disease. Jackie was born on July 16th, 1971, to Gloria Erickson(Petty) in Bremerton, Washington. Jackie attended school in Port Orchard where she spent her entire life. Jackie grew up with so much compassion, drive and ambition for family and fun. She spent a lot of her time riding motorcycles with her Uncle Joe, running the town with her childhood "besties" Lori, Nancy, Tammi and Anna. Jackie's family and friends were her entire world, she would love them uncondtionally and would do anything for them. Jackie spent a lot of time in Yakima, Washington at her great grandparents house with cousins and grandparents playing and having fond memories. Jackie became a mother at a young age, but never skipped a beat. She met the love of her life Anthony Pittman and decided to settle down. In 1990 she had her first daughter Christa and then a year and a half later her second daughter Brittany. In 1991, Jackie was dagnosed with Kidney Failure, luckly she recieved a transplant in 1997. Even with all the set backs, Jackie never let that bother her. She enjoyed camping in the wilderness, going on long drives to nowhere. She loved the Ocean as well as spending time with family and friends cooking and so much more. She taught her kids that a car ride and music could fix almost anything, she could make the most out of any given situation. Those who weren’t even blood always felt the warm welcome she had to offer with her caring and compassionate attitude. Jackie worked odd end jobs, but enjoyed every minute of it as it was an excuse to make new friends. Jackie enjoyed going to the Casino with her Uncle Ray, her mom Gloria, her daughter Christa and her friend Cindy. Jackie was an inspiration to many, with her charisma, her fight, her compassion and love for eveyone.
In 2008, her Kidneys started to fail again and she still never let it get her down. In July of 2012, she had her fist granddaughter Ellie, who became her whole entire world. It gave Jackie a second wind. She was the most amazing grandmother, so creative and loved to embrace nature, imagination and compasssion. In July of 2015, she welcomed her second granddaughter Adalynn. In November of 2018, Jackie would welcome yet again another granddaughter Stevie. Jackie still loved unconditionally, even given her illness. Even at her sickest she loved unconditionally, gave it all she had, and fight everyday to be the best she could be. Jackie made sure that everyone around her knew how absolutely loved they were. She was an absolutely incredible person with so much love to give, she was a homemaker, a mom, a grandma and an all around amazing friend. Decpite her setbacks she was such a strong fighter and never once let life knock her down. She had so many accomplishments and accepted everything that was thrown her way, never once did she have a negative outlook on life. She was so strong, a fighter, an inspiration to many and she will forever be greatly missed as she was the glue to many aspects. May she Rest In Peace and hold a spot in heaven for all of her loved ones.
