James A. Burns

James Anton Burns, "Jim", died March 26th at age 71.
Jim was born in Sonoma, CA. on May 20, 1943 to Alex and Rosa Burns. After graduating from high school he worked at a monument shop and became a stonecutter. He later served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Jim was a planner and estimator at Mare Island Shipyard in CA. and later at PSNS, for a total federal service of 46 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and was a train buff.
His greatest legacy is his two sons, Brian and Robert, who survive him. He is also survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda; Brian's wife, Cindy; brother Bob and his wife, Mary; brother Bill; niece, Sarah and husband Steve.
Private services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery.
