James Harness

James Leroy Harness died September 29, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 53.He was born January 4, 1950 in Niles, Michigan to James and June (Fry) Harness.James graduated from Niles High School in Niles, Michigan in 1968; and, graduated from City University.He married Cathy (Albright) Harness July 28, 1978He was U.S. Navy Retired - had served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1992 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.He also worked in the parts department at Bremerton Chrysler in Bremerton.James was a member of Fleet Reserve Association of Bremerton, Veteran of Foreign Wars in Bremerton. He loved fishing, photography and was a Jeep enthusiast.He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Albright) Harness of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; his parents, James and June Harness of Englewood, Florida; sister - Jennifer Bossey (& husband, Joe) of Englewood, Florida.A Memorial Service will be held at 9:O0 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington.Memorial Donations may be made to:American Heart Association4414 Woodland Park Ave.North Seattle, WA 98121
