James Heltemes

James L. Heltemes, 70, of Belfair, Wa., died June 7, 1999 at Port Orchard Care Center.  Mr. Heltemes was born June 23, 1928 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to James & Mathilda (Thell) Heltemes.On June 8,1953, he married Dorothy Trushenski in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  Mr. Heltemes owned & operated Jims Texaco in Seattle from 1968-1983 and then the Texaco in Belfair until 1986. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of the North Mason Lions Club.Mr. Heltemes is survived by his wife Dorothy of Belfair; two sons: Robert & Gary Heltemes and a daughter Lori Edgar all of Seattle. 5 Brothers: Denny Heltemes of Rice, Mn; Ronald Heltemes of Coon Rapids, Mn; Thomas Heltemes of Osseo, Mn; David Heltemes of Gainsville, Fl; Billy Heltemes of Gainsville, Fl.  7 Sisters: Ramona Kleinschmidt of Glenwood, Mn; Mary Ann Rice of Moundsview, Mn; Patricia Dzuik of Elk River, Mn; Marge Rice of St. Joe, Mn; Joan Barthelemy of Sauk Rapids, Mn; Rose Heltemes of Minneapolis, Mn; Janet Flor of Princeton, Mn and 1 Grandson Ryan Edgar of Seattle.A Memorial Mass will be 3:30pm Friday, June 11, 1999 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, Wa.  Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, Wa.
