James Carlson Hutchins, 36 of Poulsbo, Washington died on March 3, 2007 of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Bremerton, Washington on July 20, 1970 to G. David & Laurel (Judge) Hutchins. James graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1989 and married Jennifer Ann Barber on January 20, 2000 in Reno, Nevada. James worked in Kitsap & Jefferson counties for 10 years as a Jouneyman Tree Trimmer, trimming trees for electrical utilities on highline right-of-ways. He was also a groundman for 8 years on an electrical line crew at King County Metro. James was a loving and caring father who enjoyed hunting and camping, drag racing, and history. He was an 18 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local #77. Surviving are his wife Jennifer Ann of Shoreline, Washington; sons Ryan James-Carlson Hutchins, age 15 and Jack Patrick Hutchins, age 13, both of Chico, Washington; daughters JoAnna Marie Hutchins, age 16 of Chico, Washington and Rhiannon Elizabeth Hutchins, age 6 of Shoreline; parents David & Laurel Hutchins of Port Orchard; brother Frederick Rory Hutchins of Port Orchard; and grandparents Lela Lucille (Waldrep) Judge of Tracyton, Washington. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Arthur B. (Ben) Judge and paternal grandparents David B. & Constance L. Hutchins. Private graveside service. Family requests no flowers.
