James Frederick Mccary

Born in Seattle, WA on July 30, 1924 and died on October 7, 2022.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 20, 1943 to December 3, 1945 in the Marshall Islands. James married Virginia on July 6, 1946 and is survived by her after 76 years of marriage in the home Jim built for them in 1946.

He served as a supervisor after working many years for the Kitsap Co. Road District. He loved working outside, trimming, raking, mowing, and picking apples. It was always a good day if he could be outdoors.

Jim is survived by his two children, James C. McCary and Pamela Hollar. He also has three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Rill Chapel on Saturday, October 15 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
