James Allen Remington, 54 of Bremerton, Washington died in Olalla, Washington on October 19, 2007. He was born on January 24, 1953 in Fontana, California to Paul & Barbara (Pruitte) Remington. He attended Victor Valley High in Victorville, California. James worked for 40 years as a Welder. He served in the U.S. Army as an Engineer in Germany from 1970 to 1972. James was a Christian and enjoyed boating & camping. Surviving are mother Barbara (Pruitte) Smith; sons Jammy Dale & Jeremy Allen Remington and Richard Welch; daughter Angela Marie (Jacobson) Haney; brothers Ed (Sheila) Morgan & David (Cheryl) Pruitte; sisters Paula M. Remington, Linda (Chon) Nguyen and Robbin (Doug) Bowen; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild Allison Marie; stepson James Dawson; and stepdaughter Tonya Dawson. Memorial service 2:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Peninsula Bible Fellowship, 9590 Radcliff Avenue NE, Bremerton (off Wagga Way). Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
