James Ringos

February 13, 1946 — December 8, 2009

James E. Ringos 63, died Tues. Dec. 8, 2009 at his home in Bremerton.  Jim was born Feb. 13, 1946 in Bremerton to Emery and Mary (Smithlin) Ringos.  He married the former Sarita Krager Oct. 11, 1990. Jim graduated from S.K.H.S. in 1964.  He completed the PSNS Shop 26 Welder Apprenticeship program  in 1972 and retired in 2001.  For the past 2 years he worked with his son Jimmy at Willis Ent.  Jim, dedicated to his family, also enjoyed woodworking, prospecting, camping, animals and eating ice cream. Jim is survived by his wife Sarita, sons, James (Wendy Packer) of Port Orchard, Bryan, and John of Bremerton, sisters Jeanne (Harold) Bush of Issaquah, Nancy Schauer and Carol Murphy of Port Orchard,  and two step grandchildren. Public viewing will be Friday, Dec. 18th from 3 to 5 pm.  Service will be Saturday the 19th at Noon at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Burial will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.  Reception will follow at the home of Jimmy and Wendy. Memorial donations may be made to the SK Buyers Committee of the FFA, P.O. Box 155, Southworth, WA  98386 or at Kitsap Federal Credit Union in the name of John Ringos.
